Update: building the best trading journal
I'm an independent dev and futures trader based in Berlin. I’ve been actively trading for 9 years and got into crypto in 2018 through investing. My background is in aerospace engineering, which I studied at the Technical University of Berlin.
There were too many broken things and not enough good tools in crypto, so I decided to build. In 2024, I entered my first hackathon, the Colosseum Hackathon and won with MainDocs, a financial management tool for enterprises and institutions. While I didn’t continue working on it due to a shift in long-term vision, it was the beginning of my journey into building products in the crypto space.
Before going full-time into trading, I spent a little over 2 years testing spacecraft parts at Astro- und Feinwerktechnik Adlershof in Berlin — running simulations and hitting satellites with a hammer (seriously). My first job was in a call center, taking customer support calls.
I’m especially interested in everything related to trading — cexes, dexes, execution, automation, performance analytics, bots, backtesting etc.
